Your email, on your terms.

Email sign-in verifies your identity with a single-use link. A secure browser session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We store your hearts, interests, and neighborhood preferences to rank upcoming events on the site and in email. Removing a heart removes its influence. Change preferences under Your radar. Signing in alone does not subscribe you.

RocRadar stores your email, signup source, optional interests, and confirmation and unsubscribe status to run the free weekly newsletter. We use Resend to deliver email and receive delivery, bounce, and spam-complaint reports.

We don't give subscriber email addresses to featured businesses. Newsletter links to business spotlights count approximate visits, using a browser cookie to reduce repeat counts. These counts aren't proof of attendance or sales. RocRadar does not add an open-tracking pixel to its newsletter.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. A bounce or spam complaint stops future newsletter sends to that address. We retain the suppression record to avoid sending again by mistake.

The website uses a visitor cookie and basic page-view and visit-duration statistics. Newsletter confirmation and unsubscribe pages are excluded from visit tracking.

Business pilot requests are kept separately from reader subscriptions. Complimentary placements are labeled and are selected separately from event picks.
